Back in Tech

I spend a large part of my life in tech. Sitting in the dark at a light board, programming away. The current show I'm doing is Ladybird at Zero Arrow. This show is going to be one of the types of shows that I hate running. Not for the content of the show, but for the fact that I won't be able to see the stage. There is nothing that makes me feel more detached from the show that I am running than to not even be able to see it.
I fought for the right (asked Skip if it would be ok) to see the show at least for tech. It is nice to actually see that I am making changes to the show as I type numbers, not just changing the values on my console's screens.
That's really what makes my job different than some other desk job, what I'm typing actually does something.
